In the event of any unforeseen situation, such as a traffic accident, mechanical breakdown or vehicle theft, the most important thing is to remain calm and contact us immediately via our customer service number. Our staff will guide you through the next steps so that you can secure the vehicle and obtain the necessary documentation. It is your duty to notify us without delay of any such event.
For every incident, including accidents, fire, attempted theft or damage caused by wildlife, it is mandatory to call the police to carry out an investigation. Without a police report, the vehicle insurance cannot be activated, which leaves you responsible for the full compensation of the damage incurred. In addition, within 24 hours of the accident, you must complete a damage report or European accident report and submit it to us.
In the event of vehicle theft, the police must be notified immediately, and together with the police report you must provide us with the vehicle keys and all accompanying documentation received when collecting the vehicle. We specifically emphasise that if any party attempts to take possession of the vehicle, including state authorities, you must inform them in writing that the vehicle is owned by our company and is not subject to enforcement against you.
