You collect the vehicle with a full or partially full fuel tank, which is standard procedure in our rent a car service and allows you to continue with your plans immediately without first going to a petrol station. The same principle applies when returning the vehicle, where the fuel tank is expected to be at the same fuel level as it was at collection (for example, full to full). If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, the difference will be charged according to the agency’s current price list, increased by the cost of the refuelling service.
If you return the vehicle with less fuel than it had at collection, our company will perform the refuelling service up to the fuel level recorded at vehicle collection. For this service, you will be charged the price of the fuel used plus an administrative refuelling fee, which is clearly stated in our service price list. We therefore strongly recommend that you fill the tank at a petrol station near our branch before returning the keys.
It is also important to pay attention to the type of fuel your vehicle uses, which is always indicated on the sticker inside the fuel filler flap. In the event of refuelling with the wrong type of fuel, the costs of emptying the tank, transporting the vehicle to a service centre, flushing the system and any mechanical damage are borne exclusively by the renter, so please be very careful each time you refuel during your trip.
